NOTE:
Although we will post this course as an AYOP class as well as live, you wil get the most out of the class if you can do it live. The live class will be largely discussion and videos and possibly some review games. Most online class activities are not in a format that can be recorded for AYOP use. We may post some resources such as videos or Quizizz games to the course page as time allows for AYOP kids, but students are encouraged to use the live class whenever possible.
Course Description
Online class activities and discussion will be most suitable for grades 3-12.

This course will cover Volume 1 of Mystery of History (Third Edition).
Topics covered:
Volume I covers world and Biblical history from Creation (c. 4000 B.C.) to the death and resurrection of Jesus Christ (c. A.D. 33).
Tentative Course Schedule (Subject to Change)
Meets:
- 1 hour class
- Two days per week (Monday and Wednesday) - Students attend both days
- 11:00 AM Central Time
Schedule (Subject to Change):
- Start Date: Wednesday, September 4 - Intro Week Class - Parent Please Attend Intro Class With Your Student
- Class meets only one day this first week
- Will go over class behavior expectations
- Will go over what is expected of BOTH parents and students regarding homework
- Will go over live class schedule and course page content
- Classes will be held each Monday and Wednesday starting the second week.

Elementary U.S. History course with a Christian Worldview.
PLEASE NOTE: In class, we will primarily cover the HISTORY portion of the curriculum, focusing on the lessons in the textbook for our lecture, discussion, and activities.
The teacher MAY include a couple of the literature books throughout the year in class discussion. She will communicate that to you.
Curriculum includes Literature options (if you choose to get the Literature books). Literature is scheduled on the course page, but we may not have the time to discuss all literature books during the class time. Having it laid out on the course page will make it easy to schedule those activities on your own as a family, though.
Most activities in this course are PARENT GRADED, since they are largely hands on or discussion style.
