Science In The Beginning

Class is suitable for Grades K-6.

Parents must attend class with students in Grades K-3 each week.

Students in Grades 4-6 may attend class alone.

All parents and students must attend the Orientation Week.  If you have a conflict that week, you must watch the Orientation recording.

NOTE:

Although we will post this course as an AYOP class as well as live, you wil get the most out of the class if you can do it live.   The live class will be largely discussion and videos and review games.  Most online class activities are not in a format that can be recorded for AYOP use.  We may post some resources such as videos or Quizizz games to the course page as time allows for AYOP kids, but students are encouraged to use the live class whenever possible.

This is a supplemental class to add some fun discussion, videos, and games to the course you do at home.

Since this is mostly a hands on course with experiments, activities, and discussion, there will not be computer graded activities for this course.  Parents are expected to oversee the actual course content and activities with their own children.

The in class meeting will be a fun addition to the course you do.

This course page is basically a summary and checklist of the lessons and does not contain homework.  You may use the checklist to help you track your work.

Please refer to your book for the activities you will do at home as a family.
