• ENROLLMENT INFORMATION FOR 2025-26

      ENROLLING SOON!

Please see the list below of classes we still need volunteer teachers/tutors for.  We can only do live classes if we get volunteer teachers/tutors to provide them.

We currently have enrollment on hold as we prepare for fall classes and recruit volunteers.  If you are interested in AYOP (At Your Own Pace) classes, please contact support@virtualhomeschoolgroup.org.  We can let you know where we are in the process of enrollment and whether we can fit you in the AYOP classes.

We do not yet have the 2025-26 Parent Pre-Enrollment course ready.  All live families will need to complete that as our PARENT MEETING for the year.

PLEASE NOTE:  Unless otherwise noted, the schedules listed in the course descriptions are from the 2024-25 school year.  They have not yet been updated with the new year dates and times.  Some classes that ran live last year do not yet have teachers for this year.  Please see the summary lists below to see the status of each class.

As we update to the new year, we'll note that it is the 2025-26 course schedule in the course descriptions.  If you don't see a year noted, assume it is 2024-25 and has not yet been changed.

    • VOLUNTEER TEACHERS ARE NEEDED FOR THE 2025-26 SCHOOL YEAR!

Our group is a cooperative, and what we can offer depends fully on people willing to volunteer to teach/tutor our live classes.

Many of our past volunteer teachers have kids aging out of VHSG or have increasing work obligations that make teaching impossible.

In order to continue offering live classes, we need a new generation of volunteer teachers.  (We are all volunteer and have no paid staff.)

PARENTS are expected to monitor and grade their kids’ homework, so the teaching/tutoring is basically leading lectures and activities and review games for lessons and answering student questions.  We utilize videos and Quizizz review games in many of the classes to help review.   Most of the materials used in class are already built and provided for you.

If you have any questions, please email support@virtualhomeschoolgroup.org and we can work with you there.  We can set up times to meet in the live classroom to try features out and explain what classes you may be considering involve.

What we can offer for live classes this fall depends on YOU!

THESE CLASSES CAN ONLY RUN AS LIVE CLASSES IF WE GET VOLUNTEER TEACHERS.  PLEASE CONTACT US AT SUPPORT@VIRTUALHOMESCHOOLGROUP.ORG IF YOU WOULD CONSIDER VOLUNTEERING YOUR TIME TO TEACH/TUTOR THESE CLASSES.

Some build work is needed on many of these to transfer to the new site, so we need to limit the number of "still need work" classes to get everything done in time.  The ones listed below have enough work done on them already that they are within reason to consider.

If you want to see other curriculum's considered, contact support@virtualhomeschoolgroup.org and ask what you can do on the Volunteer Build Team to work on to get it considered for the 2026-27 School year.  Most of the build work needs to be done PRIOR TO considering it to run.   (Tutorials are provided, and most of the work is easy data entry.). Other options won't make it in for the 2025-26 school year.  Volunteer for Build Team NOW to get things ready for future years.

      • Apologia Chemistry

      • Apologia Advanced Biology

THESE CLASSES WILL BE AVAILABLE AS AYOP CLASSES (At Your Own Pace) FOR THE 2025-26 SCHOOL YEAR.  THEY MAY OR MAY NOT BE ABLE TO RUN LIVE, DEPENDING ON HOW MANY TEACHERS/TUTORS WE GET.

PLEASE NOTE:  Our AYOP classes have  SUPPLEMENTAL RESOURCES such as videos and Quizizz games that our families work together to find and share with other families.  How many resources are on the course pages DEPENDS ON YOU!   We have Volunteer Build Team projects for each class (with tutorials) where parents can submit resources they have found that are useful during the class.

EACH PARENT IS RESPONSIBLE TO OVERSEE AND GRADE THEIR OWN CHILD'S WORK.  THE AYOP COURSE PAGE PROVIDES A CHECKLIST AND SOME HELPFUL SUPPLEMENTAL RESOURCES TO DO THE CLASS ON YOUR OWN.

Some classes have a lot more resources than others, depending on how many families have worked on the build projects for that class.

WE ARE AN ALL VOLUNTEER COOPERATIVE AND WHAT IS AVAILABLE DEPENDS ON YOU!

See required editions in the course descriptions.
